This cult film is also being made in Telugu and Kannada. While the first few pictures of Bhavana from Kannada’s remake of 96 had come out, the recent to hit the news is Samantha’s look as Jaanu from 96 Telugu. While Sharwanand is donning the role of Ram in the film which will be directed by Prem Kumar.
As we all know, Samantha Akkineni is riding high on success. She did not choose to give up on her career post marriage as many speculated. From ‘Mahanati’ to ‘Super Deluxe’, the past two years have been good for Samantha. She particularly received a lot of appreciation for the multistarrer ‘Super Deluxe’ and the Naga Chaitanya starrer ‘Majili’.
‘Majili’ would have definitely been closer to heart as she had the opportunity to join hands with her husband yet again and create magic onscreen. Rightly so, the magic was appreciated and applauded. ‘Majili’ was Naga Chaitanya’s first-ever 75 crore film too.
