After ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’ and ‘Chekka Chevantha Vaanam’, Jyothika wraps up her next. The actress is all set to do a wonderful comedy entertainer which will be directed by ‘Gulaebaghavali‘ fame S. Kalyan. The movie also stars Revathi in the lead. The movie will be produced by Jyothika’s husband and actor Suriya’s home banner 2D Entertainment. The last schedule of the film wrapped up today and the team took pictures together.

The film took off early this year and we are absolutely excited to see what Jyothika and Revathi would be up to. Director Kalyan has also written the story, screenplay, and dialogues for the film. Actress Revathi, Mansoor Ali Khan, and national award-winning director Bramma, who helmed Jyothika’s ‘Magalir Mattum’, were present for a little Pooja the team held earlier this year.

 

Jyothika’s ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’ was directed by Radha Mohan and the film was a remake of Vidya Balan’s ‘Tumhari Sulu’. The film was a decent at the box-office and was critically acclaimed. This comedy-entertainer is also said to be a women-centric film and is said to be as entertaining as ’36 Vayadhinile’ which was Jyothika’s comeback produced by Suriya as well.

The music of this untitled film is said to be composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar who also composed for Siddharth’s ‘Jil Jung Juk’. Meanwhile, Jo has already wrapped up the shooting of another untitled film with debutant director Raj. It is expected to hit the screens sometime in the second quarter of this year. She also will be seen playing Karthi’s sibling in Jeethu Joseph’s next.
