Although Nayan did a little cameo in ‘Kuselan’ and a song with Rajini in ‘Sivaji’, the last time we saw them together in lead roles was the P.Vasu film. The film was a superhit and also had Jyothika in the lead. After the news broke out that these two superstars will be sharing screenspace as leads once again, fans have been going berserk.

The actress will reportedly don the role of a villain opposite Rajini and we are super excited to see her in this avatar. It was initially reported that Nayan will be Superstar’s love interest. However, sources close to the team now confirm otherwise. No official announcement or comfirmation regarding the same has been made yet as of now.

Nivetha Thomas has also joined the sets of ‘Darbar’ and is currently shooting in Mumbai alongside Rajini and Yogi Babu. The film is directed by AR Murugadoss, produced by Lyca and music is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The team has already garnered a lot of appreciation when the first look was released.
