Pic Talk: Rashmika lives her fangirl moment with Vijay!

The film industry celebrated Rashmika’s birthday yesterday, with the announcement that she is all set to feature as the female lead in Vijay’s 66th film. The film is to be directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced under the banner of Sri Venkateshwara Creations. Reports suggest that the shooting for this film has already begun.

While the makers of the film announced this news yesterday, Rashmika took to her Instagram to share photos of her cute fangirl moment with Vijay. Sharing some pictures with the actor, she had written, “Ok now this feels like something else… Been watching sir for years and years and now to do everything that I’ve been wanting to do.. act with him, dance with him, take his nazar, talk to him.. everything .. yaaaaay finally! An absolute delight.” She signed off the post with these words: “Cheers to new beginnings.” She is seen removing the evil eye for Vijay, and also smiling brightly while standing next to him. On the workfront, Rashmika is currently awaiting the release of Mission Majnu, a Bollywood film with Sidarth Malhotra. She has two other Bollywood releases in her pipeline including, Goodbye with veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal with Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.

Vijay on the other hand is awaiting the release of his film Beast, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The movie is set to hit theatres for Tamil New Year. Pooja Hegde has starred as the leading lady for the film.
