Oviya became a fan favourite ever since she became a part of the first season of Bigg Boss Tamil hosted by Kamal Haasan. In fact, no one won as many positive hearts as the Kalakalappu actress did. Oviya’s positive nature, her charm and mostly her straight-forward honesty made her bigger than the show itself. Ultimately for the sake of her health she had to quit the show midway but people thought she would continue her relationship with Arav.

In fact, Arav and Oviya were dating for a while before they mutually parted ways. The couple had even gone on a Thailand trip and celebrated the latter’s birthday there. After a while, the couple rubbished these as rumours and said they are no more than good friends.

Arav got married recently to debut actress Raahei and there were speculations about Oviya not attending the wedding. However, clearing the air, Oviya stated that she is really happy for her friend and due to other commitments she was unable to attend the wedding.

On the day of Pongal, Oviya has surprised her fans with a picture of an unknown young man and captioned it “love”.

 

The rumoured duo in fact looked quite in love. This has left her social media fans baffled wondering if these two are dating or are just friends.

On the professional front, Oviya was last seen in Raghava Lawrence starrer Kanchana 3. She will next be seen in a extended cameo role in Arav’s Raja Bheema and another film titled Sambhavam. She also has a Malayalam film titled Black Coffee.
