Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi are all set to act in a movie called Merry Christmas directed by Sriram Raghavan. The announcement of this film was made a while ago, and fans have been waiting for updates ever since. They have been ever excited to watch the Bollywood star Katrina and the Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi star in a movie together. Previously, we got an update a month ago. Katrina had taken to her Instagram to share BTS photos along with her co-star Vijay Sethupathi. The pictures showed the two actors in a serious discussion. It was captioned, “Work in progress. #rehearsals #merrychristmas #sriramraghavan.”

Now, the actress has taken yet again to her Instagram story to share photos of the actor. The pic of Vijay clicked by Katrina Kaif looks captivating as he is seen looking outside of the window, deep in thoughts, with a rugged beard and nerd glasses. It is definitely a frame-worthy pic as Vijay is a very low-key social media person and doesn’t share many pics. The Zero actress captioned the image as, “(camera emoji) by me.” The movie marks Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s first film together.

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Merry Christmas features Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. The film is likely to release on December 23, 2022.  This marks Vijay Sethupathi’s second film in Hindi, his first being Mumbaikar. The first schedule of the film’s shooting and the next schedule is to start soon. The film is said to revolve around events that happened on Christmas night. Touted to be a ninety-minute film without any songs, the film will be predominantly shot in Mumbai, Pune, and surrounding locales. Vijay Sethupathi is currently filming for Merry Christmas, Viduthalai, Gandhi Talks and Mumbaikar. He is also playing the antagonist in Atlee’s Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.
