Amidst the 2nd wave of the CoronaVirus pandemic in India, 2 celebrities set an example of how to celebrate a happy occasion, with the closest of family members and also without compromising much on the rituals. Mahat and Prachi who have been married for more than a year, are expecting their baby, and they celebrated the same in the safest way ever.

Mahat and Prachi started dating in 2017 and got hitched in February 2020. Now after a year, as they are expecting their first child, Mahat and his family decided to throw a baby shower ritual with their pet dog Coco and Mahat’s family. Mahat said that although they wanted to celebrate it with all their family members and close relatives, they decided against it and celebrated it in a simple manner at home because the cases are continuously going up in Chennai.

Prachi hails from Uttar Pradesh where her parents reside. Due to the current situation they could not fly down to Chennai and therefore the event was live telecast to them and Mahat’s sister who lives in Australia.

On her Instagram, Prachi posted an image of herself in a white saree and Mahat next to her and captioned, “Just us and a small baby shower I look like a mumma bear already and was happy to do something even small but it’s good to feel the positivity and festivity.”

Mahat announced prachi’s pregnancy through a tweet in February which said, “And we officially turned one blessed with another little one! Coming soon in May 2021!!! Thank you God! Prachi Mishra thank you baby for the best gift…love you”.

Mahat is known for movies like Mankatha, Jilla and Biryani while Prachi won the Miss Earth title in 2012. Fans are waiting or yet another newborn celebrity baby just like many others that were born during the pandemic.
