Initially, Nayanthara in her typical style denied all rumours. Whether the affair was a secret one or if they were figuring it out themselves we can’t be sure. Also since Nayan is not very commonly on social media, there was no indication of a relationship.

They attended award functions together and that was clear why because their movie ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ had just become a hit. Sometimes they would even receive the award from one another.

It all started changing with Vignesh Shivan putting up statuses. He was more vocal on social media. In this picture below he called her his, ‘Sunshine’ and went on to thank her for making his birthday special.
