Speaking on the occasion, she thanked everyone for their blessings. “My dream has come true by sharing the screen with Superstar. He is humble and his dedication towards his profession in spite of tall achievements taught us a lot. By watching Rajinikanth we can learn a lot of things,” she said.
Trisha is someone who shares a good rapport with other female artistes too. At the audio launch, she referred to Simran, the other female lead, as her good friend. Calling her Sims, Trisha said, “We know each other for over 15 years!”
With an enviable track record of sharing the screen with all top heroes and a line-up of interesting projects, Trisha is still going strong and steady. No doubt, she has survived all challenges and still goes on top gear. From Mounam Pesiyadhae to Samy, Ghilli and the recent 96 – Petta is a film that Trisha’s fans are eagerly waiting for.

Meanwhile, Simran who has also acted with almost all the top heroes of Tamil cinema is sharing the screen for first time with Rajinikanth too. A visibly thrilled Simran, clad in a traditional pattu saree, thanked the makers for the opportunity.
“When I look back, I wonder how I missed the chance to act in Chandramukhi. When Karthik Subbaraj messaged me to discuss about Petta opposite Rajinikanth, I was overwhelmed. I had given up hopes of sharing the screen with Superstar. It happened eventually,” she said.
On shooting with Rajinikanth, she said, “I was happy as it all went well. I learnt a lot watching Rajinikanth. I have acted with several actors, but I would say Rajinikanth is humble in spite of his tall stature and foot firm on ground. The movie has come good and would entertain all.”
She also stole the hearts of Rajni fans by shaking her legs for the song ‘Raa Raa’ from Chandramukhi.
