Despite many attempts by Premam fans all over the country to try and stop any remake of the movie, Telugu Cinema went ahead and made it anyway. Now it seems like the makers are paying the price. Ever since the Telugu version of the popular song Malare released, internet has been filled with memes and jokes about Shruti Haasan and Naga Chaitanya. Shruti is the most teased as the character Malar played by Sai Pallavi is still etched in people’s minds. To see another heroine playing their most loved character has not been taken very well by many!
