Nithya Menen and Jayam Ravi’s next is touted to be a romantic film, the first look of the film was shared on social media by the two actors. The movie is directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi and the musical score is by A R Rahman. The movie also stars Yogi Babu, Vinay Rai, and Lal. The shooting for the movie is in progress and will be released next year.
This is Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi’s fourth directorial venture and the first collaboration with Jayam Ravi, Nithya Menen and AR Rahman. She made her directorial debut in 2013 with a romantic- comedy film that starred Shiva and Priya Anand. The music of the film received a lot of love from the audience which was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Apart from movies, she also made the web series Paper Rocket which has Kalidas Jayaraman and Tanya Ravichander in the lead.

Jayam Ravi’s last released film was Iraivan with Nayanthara and Rahul Bose. The film did not do well at the box office. Before that, his earlier this year was Ponniyin Selvan II which was one of the biggest films to release in 2023.
Nithya Menen’s last were two OTT series that received raving reviews from the audience. Kumari Srimathi streaming on Prime Video and Masterpeace of Hotstar were great watches. Nithya Menen is an actress par excellence and whatever she touches turns to gold.
