Rumours are floating that Nazriya Nazim has been roped in for Ajith’s upcoming film with director H Vinoth. The actress who’s known for her Mollywood films might just be a part of the remake, appearing in a prominent role. Reports suggest that she might play Taapsee Pannu’s role from the original.

And it can’t get bigger for her for since it has been Nazriya’s dream to act in a movie alongside Ajith in the remake of Hindi hit movie Pink.

According to reports, Ajith will reprise the role of Amitabh Bachchan, who played a lawyer who comes in aid of the three women who were sexually assaulted by a powerful man. However, the makers haven’t officially confirmed it yet.

The movie is produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by H Vinodh Kumar of Sathuranga Vettai and Theeran Adhigaram Ondru fame.

Nazriya made her debut as a child artist with Malayalam movie Palunku in 2006 and then as heroine in the 2013 Malayalam film Maad Dad. She made a comeback in 2018 with a movie Koode, where she acted alongside Parvathy TK and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

With Ajith’s film, Nazriya will be making a comeback in Kollywood. She used to be known as a child artist and broke out of that and now. The shoot for Ajith59 officially began yesterday with a pooja. It may be recalled that Ajith, who played a cameo in English Vinglish, promise Sridevi that he will work in her production. Though Sridevi passed away, Ajith has fulfilled his promise by beginning this project. With this movie, Boney Kapoor is foraying into Kollywood. The movie will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
