Nayanthara is awaiting the release of two of her films, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, and Oxygen. While the former is directed by her beau Vignesh Shivan, the latter is directed by a directorial newbie G K Viknesh. He was an assistant to Director Venkat Prabhu and the movie is said to be a female-centric one.

The latest report is that the movie is all set to have an OTT release, skipping theatres altogether. The movie is bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures. While the OTT platform isn’t confirmed, reports say that a big OTT platform has approached the moviemakers.

The shooting for the film is said to have been completed. Apparently, young YouTube star Rithvik is also said to have played an important role in the film. The film is currently in its post-production stage, and the first look is all set to release sometime next week.

Meanwhile, the actor has a big lineup of films; some awaiting release and some still in the filming stage. She has finished dubbing for Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal which stars Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha in lead roles. She is also working on movies like Connect, Godfather and Gold.
