Nayanthara’s Next Solo Movie Enters Big League Of Promotions!

South India leading lady Nayanthara is currently basking in the success of her latest hit Kaashmora with Karthi. She is also busy shooting for her Imaikaa Nodigal with Atharvaa Murali and Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap.

In her next untitled film, Nayanthara will be seen taking up social issues and play the role of a district collector. Vignesh and Ramesh, the two kids who shot to fame after the National Award winning movie Kakka Muttai, will also be seen in the movie. The film is said to deal with water crisis in the state. This is Nayanthara’s 55th film and the makers are planning a big release for the film’s title and first look on her birthday on November 18th.

 

 

Usually it is the heroes have this kind of promotions with Thala 57, Vijay 60 and Dhansuh 25 trending on social media. It is however a first for a south actress to get such a promotion. Nayan has loved talking the solo route with Nee Enge En Anbe, Maya and her next release, Dora. Nayanthara 55 is also a solo film where she will act as district collector.

 

Debutante director Gopi also said, ‘Water scarcity is the major problem faced by our people in these days which is the core of the film. Once Nayanthara heard the story, she was ready to be a part of this film and we have completed our first level of shoot in Chennai and its outskirts. We are making this film with lots of social responsibility, and I am sure that this will create an impact in the minds of the audience.’

Nayanthara also has a mass fan following from all 4 southern states. She has delivered hits in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam & Kannada and is one of them most sought after heroines. Nayanthara deciding to go solo proves that, she is ready to accept new challenges of doing women centric driven stories and lead the way for other in the industry to take up such kind of scripts and not to rely only on the men to bring money.
