Nayanthara already has her hands full with her solo outing Dora and Atharvaa's Imaikaa Nodigal where she will play the role of Athavaa's elder sister, the film is touted to be a crime thriller.
Now, the buzz is that Nayanthara is in talks with Vijay's next film with Atlee Kumar. The duo who earlier delivered the mega blockbuster, Theri will reunite for Vijay's 61st movie. It is also to be noted that Atlee in his debut movie Raja Rani gave Nayanthara the much needed break when she returned to films after her break-up with Prabhu Deva. While there were rumors that Kajal Aggarwal was approached to play the female lead, now sources have confirmed that Nayanthara is the top contender for the film.
Vijay and Nayanthra have earlier given the hit, Villu in 2009 which was directed by Nayan's ex-boyfriend Prabhu Deva. Nayanthara has also made a cameo in Vijay's Sivakasi. The actress is said to be keen on working with Vijay after a gap of 7 years and is trying to work out the dates.
Meanwhile Vijay will join Atlee's sets after he finishes shooting for his 60th film Bairavaa which is scheduled for a Pongal release.
