Nayanthara, who is hailed as Lady Superstar yesterday jetted off to Kochi with Vignesh Shivan. Vignesh Shivan has shared pictures and video of them in his official Instagram handle. Their pictures from the airport have gone viral in social media since then.

Here’s why the actress took off to Kochi. Nayanthara was roped in to play the female lead opposite Fahadh Faasil in director Alphonse Puthren’s Paattu. Paattu will be Alphonse’s third directorial after the hugely popular films Neram and Premam. The film will be bankrolled by Zacharia Thomas and Alwin Antony of UGM Entertainments. Anand C Chandran, who worked in both of his earlier films, will do the cinematography. Reportedly, Nayanthara will begin shooting for the film shortly. The film was launched last year, and the covid lockdown and shooting restrictions have delayed the film process.

Nayanthara has been working alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha Akkineni in Vignesh Shivan’s ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaathal’. She will also be seen in Rajini’s next, ‘Annaatthe’ which is based in a rural setting.
