Nayanthara and Trisha To Act Together? Details Inside!

woah!

Trisha and Nayanthara are two of the leading actors in the Tamil film industry. While Trisha started her career in Tamil with Mounam Pesiyadhe in 2002, Nayanthara first starred in Ayya in Tamil after doing a few Malayalam films in 2003. Over these many years, both actresses have been having an upward graph in their respective careers. While there were reports earlier that the two stars had trouble getting along, they’re actually close friends now and get along very well.

Recent reports suggest that the two are all set and likely to star together in a film. Trisha is currently working along with Mohan Lal on a film called Ram directed by Jeethu Joseph. The movie’s shoot is apparently taking part in London, and the actors are travelling back and forth to the country for the shoot. This film was announced by Jeethu pre-pandemic but has gone on floors only recently.

If Mollywood buzz it to believed, the prodcer of the film, Red Carpet Suresh has incurred losses because of the delay in shooting. In order to compensate for the same, the movie is apparently going to be made in two parts. It has also been decided to cast Nayanthara in an important character and she will appear in the end of the first part and will feature prominently in the sequel. However, the official announcement is awaited. If this is true, then the two leading actors of Tamil cinema will finally be seen onscreen together.

Tamil film directors have already tried to get the actors to do films together. In fact, reports suggest that Vignesh Shivan tried to get Trisha on board initially for Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal. However, Trisha couldn’t do the film and Samantha ended up playing the role.

On the work front, Trisha is currently receiving great praises for her role in Mani Ratnam’s Magnum Opus Ponniyin Selvan. She played the role of the Chola princess Kundavai in the film. She is shooting for debutante director Arun Vaseegaran’s The Road and is awaiting the release of Sathuranga Vettai 2. She will also be seen in the second part of Ponniyin Selvan which is most likely to release in 2023.

Nayanthara entered the film industry way back in 2003 with Sathyan Anthikad’s Malayalam film ‘Manassinakkare’. As a Malayali, she entered the Mollywood industry first, and then entered the Tamil film industry only with ‘Ayya’ in 2005. She rose to fame with films like Chandramukhi, Vallavan and Billa. Now, she has a huge fan following in the Tamil film industry and is one of the leading actors in the industry. On the work front, this Kollywood star is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Atlee’s Jawaan, who is acting opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The actor, who was last seen in O2, is awaiting the release of ‘Gold’ along with Prithiviraj Sukumaran in Malayalam. Meanwhile, she is filming for a number of films including, ‘Iraivan’, and ‘Godfather’.
