Over these many years, both actresses have been having an upward graph in their respective careers. While there were reports earlier that the two stars had trouble getting along, they’re actually close friends now and get along very well.

However, the official announcement is awaited. If this is true, then the two leading actors of Tamil cinema will finally be seen onscreen together.

Tamil film directors have already tried to get the actors to do films together. In fact, reports suggest that Vignesh Shivan tried to get Trisha on board initially for Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal. However, Trisha couldn’t do the film and Samantha ended up playing the role.
