Late Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa received a state funeral and was laid to rest next to her mentor MGR at Marina beach on December 6. Prior to that, her mortal remains were kept for public display at the historic Rajaji Hall in Chennai. Millions of supporters and celebrities arrived to bid a final goodbye to the ‘people’s CM’.
Among the celebrities were Rajinikanth and family, Khushboo, Sarathkumar, Anirudh, Karthi and many others. Nayanthara who seldom steps out for public events, arrived to bid farewell to her beloved idol. She was seen arriving with her alleged boyfriend Vignesh Sivan.
