To thank this lovely gesture, the Akkineni family invited Aamir for dinner. The pictures of this intimate get-together among the stars – Nagarjuna, Naga Chaithanya, Akhil, Sai Pallavi, Sekhar Kammula, and Aamir Khan goes viral on social media. The latest buzz is that the south actor Nagarjuna got emotional and shed a few tears during the dinner party.

Amidst the party, the actor was informed that his son Chaitanya is playing a character named Bala Raju in his upcoming B’wood debut Laal Singh Chadha alongside Aamir Khan. This took Nagarjuna aback as this was coincidentally played by his father and Naga Chaitanya’s grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao(ANR). He played the role of a character with the same name in the movie Balaraju more than 70 years ago. This left Nagarjuna shocked with happy tears.

ANR died of stomach cancer in 2013 and was last seen on screen in the Telugu hit movie Manam alongside his son Nagarjuna and grandson Naga Chaitanya and Samantha which was released in 2014.

Laal Singh Chaddha is an upcoming Hindi language movie that is the official adaptation of the English Tom Hanks ’94 movie Forrest Gump. The movie has an ensemble of stars like Vijay Sethupathi, Aamir Khan, Naga Chaitanya, and many more. The film is set to be released early next year.
