Pictures of Samantha and Naga Chaitanya attending a pooja led to rumors that that Samantha had converted to Hinduism to marry Naga Chaitanya. Samantha is a Telugu Christian by birth and was brought up in Chennai. However, fiance Naga Chaitanya has now clarified saying, ‘Everything is universal for me, I don’t separate people based on their religion and caste. I’m not into religion conversion and only accept people for whom they are. There was no shooting on that day and as my dad insisted to attend the pooja, we went there and he blessed us.’
He also requested people not to spread such rumors about the couple in the future.
