Naga Chaitanya chooses Rashmika Mandanna over Keerthy Suresh?

Rashmika Mandanna has enjoyed a huge spell of success in her very young film career, which is only entering its 4th year in 2020.

Her 2019 saw her star in two huge releases, namely the Kannada action flick Yajamana, starring Darshan that managed to collect more than 50 crores at the box office, and the critically and commercially successful Telugu movie Dear Comrade, in which she starred opposite Vijay Deverkonda. She is also enjoying the great recent success that her movie Sarileru Neekevvaru, starring Mahesh Babu, is having at the box office after its January 11th release earlier this year.

In a recent twitter session where she interacted with fans, the budding actress stated that she would love to work with another heavyweight of Telugu cinema in Naga Chaitanya, which would see her career move to a whole new level, a view shared with her fans as well.

According to various media reports, it seems that both the fan’s and Rashmika’s wishes have been heard, with news coming out that the pair would feature in the director Parasuram’s next movie. There has been no official confirmation of this revelation, but the buzz going around seems to suggest it’s true!

Now the string buzz is on director Vikram K Kumar’s film with Naga Chaitanya in the lead. The makers of this film are looking at Keerthy Suresh and Rashmika Mandanna. The latest news reports suggest that actor Naga Chaitanya chose to get  actress Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead of the film. Speculation suggest that this might be because of the dull response to Keerthy Suresh starring movie Penguin.

Apart from this rumoured project, Rashmika has a further four movies expected to release this year, including her Tamil debut in the movie Sultan, and yet another major Telugu release with Allu Arjun’s 20th movie, directed by Sukumar of Arya fame.
