“Every stand-up comedian’s message is an extension of his own life experiences. Therefore, that is the standard formula. It doesn’t make sense to talk about something one is not related to or has experienced personally. My concepts are infused with a lot of Chennai flavours. The humour quotient is found in the theme of the universe with ‘Chennai-ness’ being its base,” SA said.
He further added, “However, anyone across India would find it funny, not necessarily just the Chennai-ites. If I had to define myself through my style, I’m highly energetic, frantic and this nervous person converts his nervousness to high-energy ranting. That’s something that has stayed consistent for the last six years with me.”
