Nayanthara, rightfully known as Lady Superstar, has started to choose brilliantly strong roles and movies these days which keeps her way ahead of her contemporaries. Stills of the actress’ cop act in Ajay Gnanamuthu’s Imaikka Nodigal are out and everybody is impressed! She’s intense yet there’s the standard grace that often comes with her films. With a look of determination in her face, the stills convey a lot more about her role.

The film has the actress play an investigative officer in charge of looking into the murders of six affluent people in the city. She and Atharvaa Murali play siblings. She has also been given an image makeover, playing a character hailing from Bengaluru.
Atharva plays a doctor while Raashi Khanna plays his love interest. Anurag Kashyap, who earlier starred in AR Murugadoss’ Akira, will play the villain and appears quite menacing in the teaser.
