Artists from within the industry have pointed finger at the director for promoting nepotism, at actor Salman Khan for not letting newcomers survive in the industry without his consent and all the actors and actresses who have been products of nepotism. It has also been reported that Sushant was in fact kicked out of six out of the seven films the actor had signed by various producers including Yash Raj Films, Dharma Productions, Sajid Nadiawala among others.
Filmmaker Vijay Shekhar Gupta has decided to make a movie based on the late actor;s life and what pushed his death. The film is titled it as ‘Suicide or Murder? – A Star Was Lost’ Releasing a poster of the film, he said, “”I am making this film to end the monopoly of the big stars and production houses of the film industry.”
Gupta confirmed that the film is not Rajput’s biopic, but is inspired by his life and work. “We are writing the script. It will be based on thorough research of the star’s life, and we will be talking to a lot of other actors who are considered ‘outsiders’ in the industry,” he said to a media house. The director says he wants to ‘expose Bollywood’ with this film.
He informed that star kids will not be roped in for the movie and they will be working with a rising star. The shooting of the film is expected to commence in a few months.
