The sportswoman, during India’s seven-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the Women’s Asia Cup T20, she scored a 33-ball 23 in a 108-run chase while opening the batting. She managed to cross the mark taking a single off the bowling of Oshadi Ranasinghe in the sixth over of the chase, reports Cricbuzz.
Raj is now the seventh women cricketer to achieve the this feat, with the list lready headed by former England captain Charlotte Edwards (2605) while the current Windies and New Zealand captains, Stafanie Taylor and Suzie Bates, also have runs in excess of 2500.
It should be noted that the Indian on the list across genders includes Virat Kohli.
