After the epic battle that commenced at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad last night, Chennai Super Kings have won our hearts yet another time. Their sheer hard work was evident and the fans weren’t ready to give up, inspite of the weather and the postponement. Such is the love of a true blue fan!

The team has been one of the most loved teams of the league. Mahendra Singh Dhoni has an extravagant fan base that doesn’t go unnoticed. His captaincy or his helicopter shots, he is known as Captain Cool for a reason.

When the finals for IPL unfolded yesterday, there was uncertainty in the air. The final match on 28th was postponed due to the weather conditions in Gujarat. The fans didn’t lose hope and stayed an extra day to witness history in the making. And what a game! When the team won, the excitement and happiness knew no bounds. It was special, a moment to be cherished forever. While everyone sees what goes on the pitch, there is support of family that is invisible but priceless. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Utkarsha Pawar

Utkarsha Pawar is a cricketer herself, she plays for the Maharashtra team. Star opening batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad is allegedly going to tie the knot with her this June. An extension to the win, the wedding will surely be a grand affair.

Ajinkya Rahane and Radhika with their kids

Childhood sweethearts, Ajinkya and Radhika grew up in the same neighbourhood. They were sure they would get married once he makes it to the Indian team. They became parents to daughter Aarya in 2019 and son Raghav in 2022.

Devon Conway and Kim Conway

Kim Watson and Devon Convoy tied the knot in 2022 in South Africa. They have been friends since childhood, and when in college, they got to know each other better. She is seen cheering for him from the stands and lives a private life otherwise. She has been a source of support and comfort for the cricketer who plays for the New Zealand team.

Deepak Chahar and Jaya

Deepak Chahar married Jaya Bharadwaj  in June 2022. The wedding was a lavish affair with many cricketers from the Indian team were present. After one of the IPL matches that he was playing at, he got down on one knee and proposed to her in front of everyone.

Ravindra Jadeja and Rivaba Jadeja

Rivaba Jadeja is a politician and a member of the Gujarat legislative Assembly and Bhartiya Janta Party. Ravindra Jadeja met her at a party and they were instantly taken by each other. They knew they had found the one and tied the knot in April 2016.  They have a daughter named Nidhyana.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sakshi Dhoni with Ziva

Dhoni was introduced to Sakshi through a mutual friend and when she was working for Taj Bengal in Kolkata, they got to spend some time together. The two started dating in March 2008 and tied the knot in 2010. They have a beautiful daughter Ziva who is seen for almost all matches the captain plays.


Shivam Dube and Anjum Khan

Shivam Dube got married to long time girlfriend Anjum Khan in 2021. The wedding was an inter-faith wedding with ceremonies from both sides of the family. She belong to Uttar Pradesh and has studied fine arts from Aligarh Muslim University.

Moeen Ali and Firoza Hussain

Firoza was born in Bangladesh and currently lives in England. They met each other when the cricketer was in Bangladesh for a match. They stay away from the limelight and hence their personal life isn’t known to many.

Mitchell Santner and Caitlin Dodunski

Another story of high school sweethearts, Mitchell and Caitlin knew each other for long before they started a romantic relationship. The couple announced their engagement through Instagram. They are now proud parents to Izzy Esme who was born in September 2022.
