Meera Jasmine all set for her comeback!

Know more about her ‘new beginning’!

Meera Jasmine has been a popular face in the industry up until she had taken a break after her marriage. The National Award-winning actor is all set to make a new beginning after 5 years.

Meera Jasmine, who has acted in films of other south Indian languages as well, is set to star in the Malayalam film by Sathyan Anthikad.

Meera had been in Dubai, to receive the United Arab emirate’s golden visa which had previously been bagged by popular names like Mammootty and Mohanlal. There, she spoke about getting back to acting and how blessed she felt. The Golden Visa refers to long-term residence visas given by the UAE government.

At the event on October 7, 2021, she spoke about how the audiences’ excitement keeps her going.

“I had taken a break. Now I am going to be active but selective. I have done four movies with Sathyan Anthikad and this is the fifth movie. I am very, very happy and seriously blessed,” she expressed.

Adding to her joy of returning, she also added how it is important to have good content in movies and how experimenting with diverse themes as an artist is key to any good movie. According to her, Malayalam movies represent the gamete of Indian cinema, and various film industries within the country get inspired by them.

“The credit for it should be given to the audience because they won’t be happy with average content, they are really intelligent,” the actor added.

Talking about her role in the new movie by Sathyan, she spoke about how it didn’t overlap with any of the characters she had done before. “I have a good role in the movie and I hope that this would be a new beginning,” she said.

This promising movie bagged by Meera was announced in April and it stares her opposite to Jayaram and has been scripted by Iqbal Kuttipuram.

Meera Jasmine made her debut with Soothradharan directed by Lohithadas. The last time she was on our screens was in Pathu Kalpanakal. Her upcoming movie breaks her absence of 5 years and we wish the actor the very best.
