Mani Ratnam’s Son Robbed In Italy; Receives Random Phone Calls In The Name Of Help!

No one is a stranger to theft even if you are star kid. In a series of shocking events, Nandan, the son of Mani Ratnam and Suhasini Maniratnam was robbed in Italy. His doting and concerned mother decided to seek help through social media which ended up to be a nuisance. Suhasini Maniratnam took to twitter to seek help for her son Nandan who was left alone and needed to get to the airport.

In her post, she said, “SOS! Anyone near Venice airport ? can u help our son who was robbed in Belluno.he needs to reach airport pls help.” Apart from this, she had earlier shared her son’s number so that those in Italy could contact him and help him get to the airport. However, the star kid that he is, received various calls which included people who are not from Italy. Suhasini immediately tweeted responding to that saying, “ppl who can’t help in Venice pls don’t call the number I posted earlier as your drain out his battery & he ‘ll lose contact.”

“People from India pls don’t call and harass some one who already is in distress,” she added.

She later posted that Nandan is safe and someone has offered to help him: “Help is on the way for our son. So those from Twitter who offered help. Thank you. He’s fine now.” She further added, “Our son checked into a hotel. He is safe tonight.”
