Malayalam Superstar Mammootty shared a picture of his co-star Anjali Ameer for his upcoming movie ‘Perunbu’. Anjali is a popular transgender model from Kerala and is now settled in Chennai.
Not much has been revealed at the moment about her role in the movie, however, it’ll be interesting to see her onscreen with Mammootty. The model has shared her excitement on working with the superstar. ‘Perunbu’ is being directed by Ram who is well known for his movies ‘Kattradhu Thamizh’ and ‘Thanga Meengal’ which has won three National awards.
Anjali Ameer is a 21-year-old model who underwent a successful sex-change operation 2 years ago and is the first transgender model to star in a mainstream Malayalam movie.
