Malavika Mohanan is the new girl on the block and the actress made a grand debut with Superstar Rajinikanth’s film Petta. Eventually Malavika grabbed the lead role in Thalapathy Vijay’s Master directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and the film was a huge hit and soon she is all set to do Dhanush’s next with director Karthick Naren, which is tentatively called ‘D43’.

The latest buzz is that Malavika Mohanan is likely to play one of the female leads in Shankar’s next big project. Ram Charan is playing the lead role and it will be a pan-Indian film. Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. This is the first time Shankar will be directing a Telugu hero and if Malavika Mohanan confirms the news this will be her Telugu debut.
