We have been really excited the minute A R Murugadoss, the renowned director of ‘Thupakki’ and ‘Kaththi’, announced that he will be collaborating with Tollywood’s Superstar Mahesh Babu for a Tamil-Telugu Bilingual. The director took it to social media to announce the release date: “Be our guest in theaters, Opens June 23 !!!!  … Very excited @urstrulyMahesh.”

Rakul Preet Singh will be the female lead of the film and we play the role of Mahesh Babu’s romantic interest. The ‘Kadhal’ fame Kollywood actor Bharath and RJ Balaji will have pivotal roles in the film. The yet-to-be-titled film will be produced by Tagore Madhu and the music will be scored by Harris Jayaraj. Santhosh Sivan will be taking care of the camera.

Mahesh Babu was last seen in the movie ‘Brahmotsavam’ alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal, and Pranitha Subhash. AR Murugadoss’s last directed film was ‘Kaththi’ which started Ilayathalapthy Vijay, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Sathish. The movie was remade in Telugu as ‘Khaidi no.150’ starring Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal.
