Chocolate Boy Maddy announced that he won’t be able to share screen space with Saif Ali Khan of Bollywood in the upcoming Hindi film by Navdeep Singh as he is still recovering from his shoulder injury. Maddy said missing out on a chunky role in the Historical drama has upset him a lot. The Minnale remake in Hindi saw Saif play the role of Abbas in Tamil version. Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein as it was called is the last time co-star worked together 17 years back. The actor was reported as saying, “Yes, I had to opt out as I had to do action in that. I am feeling so miserable because I was so looking forward to joining that team and working with them,” Madhavan told a leading news agency. Zoya Hussain will be seen in the Aanand L Rai production venture, which will be shot in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Mumbai. In fact, actress Sonakshi Sinha is also on board for an interesting cameo in it.

Talking about the film, Madhavan added: “It is a lovely story and a script and on top of that it is an Aanand L Rai’s production. I really wanted to be a part of it. I am hugely disappointed that I am not able to do it. (Working with Saif again) would have been really awesome. The injury kind of ruined everything.”

The actor was last seen acting in Amazon Prime web series Breathe, a thriller-action show that stole the audience. Currently, though he is busy resting and recovering. Get well soon!
