Living The Dream: Trisha Confirms That She Is Now A Part Of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan!

A Mani Ratnam film is one of the most anticipated movies for every film lover. He is a master-craftsman and usually takes time to give out a terrific output making sure the audience experiences a wonderful film. When the Thalapathy director announced that he will be making a film of Tamil literature’s classic Ponniyin Selvan, speculations began on whom he would be casting in his film. Until now, we know that the confirmed names are Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Keerthy Suresh, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Chiyaan Vikram, Arav Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Trisha Krishnan and then Ashwin Kakumanu.

The 96 actress replaced Nayanthara’s place in the film.

Mani Ratnam is currently busy with the pre-production of the film. The film’s first schedule is touted to go on floors from the 12th of December in Thailand.  Trisha’s last film with the ace director was the blockbuster Ayudha Ezhuthu.

A source close to the team earlier confirmed that Mani Ratnam has been holding back all the required announcements since he has always believed in complete preparation before he kickstarts. He is currently planning various training sessions and activities for the actors and his team as a part of his pre-production preps.

As a treat to the fans, Madras Talkies has finally released a poster confirming the film and Trisha has just retweeted the poster writing, “Living The Dream”.

 

Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi also talked about being a part of the film, “The entire Universe has conspired for this movie!
Cannot wait to see the epic #PonniyinSelvan and cannot believe I am part of this dream team💕💕#manisirmagic.”

 

Trisha, on the other hand, is currently shooting for Raangi, Sugar alongside Simran and Paramapadam Vilayattu. She has also signed two other big films like the one with Mohanlal in Jeethu Joseph’s next and is also getting her big break in Tollywood after years alongside Megastar Chiranjeevi in Koratala Siva’s next produced by his son Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy.
