Linguswamy’s Next To Have Madhavan And Arun Vijay as Villains?

Last year, popular film director N Linguswamy announced that his next film will be a bilingual one in Tamil and Telugu starring Ram Pothineni in the lead roles. WIth this film, N Linguswamy is entering the Tollywood world as the director. The shooting that was supposed to start in May this year, has been delayed owing to the 2nd wave of the pandemic. Now, reports say that R Madhavan and Arun Vijay are to be roped as the main antagonists of the film.

A recent report said that the director has had talks with both Madhavan and Arun Vijay for playing antagonists and that they have also listened to the script. However, there is no further update on whether they have agreed to play the role. Super 30 and Uppenna fame Kirthi Shetty is supposedly playing the leading lady in the movie, marking her Kollywood debut.

Linguswamy was last seen as the director of Sandakozhi 2, the sequel of his movie Sandakozhi. Madhavan has been waiting for the release of his first film as director, ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’, in which he is also playing a role. Madhavan was last seen in the movie ‘Nishabdham’ along with actress Anushka Shetty. Arun Vijay on the other hand was seen last in Karthick Naren’s ‘Mafia: Chapter 1’. He is currently filming for a list of movies including ‘Sinam’, ‘Agni Siragugal’, ‘Boxer’ and ‘Borrder’.
