A recent report said that the director has had talks with both Madhavan and Arun Vijay for playing antagonists and that they have also listened to the script. However, there is no further update on whether they have agreed to play the role. Super 30 and Uppenna fame Kirthi Shetty is supposedly playing the leading lady in the movie, marking her Kollywood debut.
Linguswamy was last seen as the director of Sandakozhi 2, the sequel of his movie Sandakozhi. Madhavan has been waiting for the release of his first film as director, ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’, in which he is also playing a role. Madhavan was last seen in the movie ‘Nishabdham’ along with actress Anushka Shetty. Arun Vijay on the other hand was seen last in Karthick Naren’s ‘Mafia: Chapter 1’. He is currently filming for a list of movies including ‘Sinam’, ‘Agni Siragugal’, ‘Boxer’ and ‘Borrder’.
