According to latest reports, Kollywood’s dreamgirl Simran will be seen alongside Arvind Swami in his upcoming film directed by ‘Naan Avan Illai’ fame Selva. Another exciting information is that Simran will be sporting the role of a stylish cop. Also, ‘Irudhi Sutru’ fame Ritika Singh will play the role of Arvind Swami’s romantic interest.

Actors like Nanditha Swetha, Thambi Ramaiyah, Chandhini, Hasini, Harish Utthaman, Naagi Needu, Raj Kapoor and Ramesh Pandit in pivotal roles. Music director Imman will be composing background scores for the film and the camera will be cracked by Gokul. Various reports mentioned that the film has been titled as ‘Vanangamudi’ but there has been no confirmation or statement regarding the title.

Simran was last seen in the movie ‘Aindhaam Padai’ starring Sundar C, Nasser, Vivek and Devayani in the year 2009. The music of her last movie was also composed by D.Imman. While Ritika Singh was last seen in the movie ‘Aandavan Kattalai’ alongside Vijay Sethupathi.

Simran got married to her childhood friend Deepak in the year 2003 and is a proud parent of two boys. This will be a great comeback for her after 2009 and we can’t to watch her in an action role!
