Keerthy Suresh’s next film, titled Raghu Thatha’s glimpse was released today by the makers of the film. A 20 second video featuring Keerthy’s character with the title Raghuthatha printed on it, being taken across a small village-like setup on a cart, with the announcement that the film is set to release soon.
Keerthy totally did 3 movies this year. Two Telugu movies Bhola Shankar and Dasara and one Tamil film Maamannan. Then earlier this year it was announced that Kannada-based production house Hombale Films is backing Keerthy’s next, Raghu Thatha which is helmed by Suman Kumar. The first-time filmmaker was one of the writers of the hit Prime Video series The Family Man. The film marks Hombale Films’ foray into Tamil cinema, after producing blockbuster hits in Kannada including KGF and Kantara.
The film is said to be a satirical take on the journey of a young woman to protect the identity of her land and her people. MS Bhaskar, Devadarshini, Ravindra Vijay, Anandsamy, and Rajesh Balakrishnan play supporting roles.And technical team include Yamini Yagnamurthy as cinematographer and editing is done by TS Suresh and Sean Roldan is composing music.
