Keerthy Suresh who was last seen in the Mohanlal starrer Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham, is one of the top actors in the South film industry. She worked with Rajinikanth recently on Annatthhe and always has upcoming projects to work on. As one of the busiest actors of the South film industry, she usually recieves appreciation for most of her performances.

Recently, a lot of Keralites have not liked the movie Marakkar and have therefore been criticizing it. However, one man has used abusive language against the actor for her portrayal of Aarcha in the movie. The video went viral on social media and as it caught the eye of Mohan Lal, her sent it to Keerthy’s father Suresh Kumar.

Suresh Kumar has filed a complaint with the Trivandrum DGP office and the offender is expected to be nabbed soon. It is to be noted that it is not new for actor’s to face backlash for the roles they play. But, increasingly, women actors are becoming subject to abuse on Social media in recent times.

Keerthy is awaiting the release of movies like ‘Good Luck Sakhi’, ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, ‘Bola Shankar’ etc. Her next release in Tamil in the first quarter of 2022 is ‘Saani Kaayidham’ directed by Arun Madheshwaran in which director Selvaraghavan makes his debut as lead actor.
