Keerthy Suresh Makes Her Debut As A Singer!

Check it out!

Keerthy Suresh, who has wowed the audience with her performance in Mahanati and other films as an actress, has now turned into a singer too. The actress lent her voice for Pudhu Metro Rail, which also has vocals by Vikram, for the upcoming film Saamy Square directed by Hari.

The song, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, is a party kuthhu number of sorts that has been autotuned with the inclusion of dubstep too.

“Producer Shibu Thameens is the reason I’ve sung in the film. He showed a random video of me singing to Devi Sri Prasad and they both then compelled me to sing the song in the film,” Keerthy said about her singing debut at the film’s audio launch.

Saamy Square has mostly been shot in Chennai, Karaikudi, Delhi, Mussoorie and Nepal. Saamy Square is the sequel to blockbuster Saamy, which was one of the biggest commercial hits in Vikram’s career about 15 years ago. The film’s trailer was released last month and includes all the juicy bits from the upcoming film, with the character going on a roll punching and beating people in front of him.

Apart from the two, the film also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, who plays Vikram’s wife in the film, with him in dual roles. The film’s villain is played by Bobby Simha.

Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh, who recently won a lot of praise for her portrayal of late yesteryear actress Savitri in Nag Ashwin’s directorial of the biopic Mahanati (Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil), will reportedly play her again on screen! According to reports, she will be essaying the role for the second but only briefly for the upcoming NTR biopic.

She is also shooting forSandakozhi 2 with Vishal. She will also be seen in a small cameo in Sivakarthikeyan’s Seema Raja.
