Karthi’s last being ‘Dev’ might not have been a commercial success but he sure has a gorgeous charm and charisma onscreen. He has a multiple number of movies in his kitty now. But now looks like it that Karthi is sorted with his third movie. It has been reported that Jyothika will be seen playing his sister in the film. The movie would be directed by the ‘Dhrishyam’ fame director Jeethu Joseph.

The latest addition to this stellar cast would be playing the father of these onscreen siblings and that is none other than Sathyaraj. The movie is touted to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.

As the first schedule of the movie began yesterday, Karthi Tweeted a heartwarming message to his dearest “anni” and also talked about how excited he is:

This movie will be produced by Jyothika’s brother Suraj and Viacom 18. Jyothika is busy winding up her untitled comedy entertainer with director Kalyaan of ‘Gulaebaghavali’ fame.

The actor is currently working in a flick titled ‘Kaidhi’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of ‘Managaram’ fame. He is also reported to have signed a romantic film with Bagyaraj of ‘Remo’ fame alongside the ‘Geetha Govindam’ actress Rashmika Mandhana. He will wrap these films up to prepare and begin shooting for Mani Ratnam’s next ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. He is said to be sharing screen space with ‘Jayam’ Ravi and Vikram in this film.
