Dhanush becomes unstoppable as he gives yet another massive hit with Mari Selvaraj’s Karnan. Rajisha Vijayan, a talented actress from the Malayalam film industry simply grabbed the role for good. Rajisha has ever since been making the headlines as to how she ended up with a role in a film as unique as Asuran among several other Tamil-based actresses.

During a recent press interaction while promoting Karnan, Rajisha opened up about how she landed up with the role in Mari Selvaraj’s film. Mari had met Rajisha in the office of producer Kalaipuli S. Dhanu and that is exactly where he narrated the story to her as well. On hearing the narration and being captivated by the story, the actress agreed to be a part of the film and also, director Mari was happy to have her after watching her super hit film June.

Rajisha also feels that her role in a film matters more than her dress or looks. She also went on to give due credit to her director for her layered character in the upcoming film.

Rajisha also spoke about how watching her all time favourite actor Dhanush perform in front of the camera helped her learn to take on intense roles with better understanding and attitude.

Rajisha has done some brilliant films in Malayalam including Love, June and Finals.
