Bollywood director Karan Johar is now a proud father to a twin through surrogacy. The director will be nurturing a boy and a girl and according to reports, he is beyond excited about this new phase. The babies were reportedly born in Andheri’s Masrani hospital in Mumbai.

The ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ director has sent across a beautiful message to his fans after sharing the news with them. Naming his babies Roohi and Yash, he also mentioned that he is ‘enormously blessed to be a parent’. Here’s what he said in his message:

Karan in his autobiography ‘The Unsuitable Boy’ had always mentioned that he always loved to be a dad. In his book, he had mentioned, “I don’t know what I’m going to do about it but I feel like I would like to be a parent. I don’t know how it’s going to happen but I do feel the need because I have plenty of love to offer and I’d like to take it forward. This feeling needs a release and requires a platform. And that platform could be by being a parent.”
