Bollywood director Karan Johar is now a proud father to twins through surrogacy. The director will be nurturing a boy and a girl and according to reports, he is beyond excited about this new phase. The babies were reportedly born in Andheri’s Masrani hospital in Mumbai. Although the twins were born in February, the news came out quite some time after that as the births were registered in the Public health department only in March.
Karan in his autobiography ‘The Unsuitable Boy’ had always mentioned that he always loved to be a dad. In his book, he had mentioned, “I don’t know what I’m going to do about it but I feel like I would like to be a parent. I don’t know how it’s going to happen but I do feel the need because I have plenty of love to offer and I’d like to take it forward. This feeling needs a release and requires a platform. And that platform could be by being a parent.”
In the registration, the father of the babies is mentioned as Karan Johar while there is no name of the mother. Earlier, Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor also became a single father to a baby boy Lakshya through surrogacy.
