This week has been quite harsh on the South India TV industry as popular Telugu TV actor Pradeep Kumar hung himself in Hyderabad. New reports confirmed today that popular Kannada and Tamil TV actress Rekha Sindhu was killed in a car accident on the Chennai-Bangalore highway.
The car that Rekha was travelling in met with an accident at Sunnampukuttai, a village close to Pernambut. Her car hit the divider on high speed and toppled leading to instant death of the actress and three others. Abhishek Kumaran (22), Jayachandran (23) and Rakshan (20) were identified among the three dead.
The actress was brought to Thirupatthur hospital and was declared brought dead. Cops are investigating the case and further details are awaited.
