In February this year, actress Gautami had posted a lengthy blog post opening up about her dissolved relationship with actor and upcoming politician Kamal Haasan. The two had been in a live-in relationship for a while. In the blog titled ‘Past is past – there are reasons for it’, she spoke about the trials and tribulations she faced in her relationship with him and that she is not associated with Makkal Needhi Maiam.

The actress voiced her opinion on how their relationship turned sour in fact she called it, ‘Torment’ and the salary dues he owes her for working on his feature films. They worked together in Papanasam and it is a well-known fact that Kamal Haasan was caring for the actress when she was battling Cancer.

The latest buzz is that Kamal Haasan has denied about not paying her dues, adding that she has been given her salary. This comes months after her blog post.

According to a report, Kamal in response to a question, said, “We have already reimbursed Gautami for the work she has done. When Gautami could tell people that she was not paid, why couldn’t she tell when the payment was made.”

Soon after her blog gained traction, Kamal Haasan’s production company Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) denied the claims alleging that if it had happened, then Gautami should produce proof. They also emphasised that they were not the ones who produced the films she has mentioned in the blog, it was Aascar Ravichandran who produced Dasavatharam under his production firm Aascar Films and PVP Cinemas bankrolled Vishwaroopam.
