Kamal Haasan Remembers His Dearest Friend Crazy Mohan On His Second Death Anniversary!

We miss you!

There is not one film of the Kamal and Crazy Mohan duo that would bore you. Beginning with Aboorva Sagodharargal up until Vasool Raja MBBS, their chemistry was a firecracker. It was a rare actor-dialogue writer combo but what’s more aching is the fact that we would never get to see this chemistry onscreen anymore in any new films. That’s all that there is – a treasure that must be preserved for generations to see and realize what an epitome of progressive humour is, what witty one-liner is and what punchy dialogues are.

It’s been two years since the legendary writer passed away. Kamal Haasan shared a throwback picture of himself and Crazy Mohan and wrote how he changed the landscape of theatre and how well he conveyed serious philosophy through his plays under the veil of humour.

In the official page of Raaj Kamal Films International, the actor recollects his memories with Crazy Mohan in length.

Ulaganayagan reminisces good old memories with his dearest friend through a series of tweets.

The actor completes the note saying that Crazy Mohan was a golden find and he filled the void left behind by those like Cho, Nagesh ad Mouli. “He was a true golden find when he did enter tamil cinema as he effortlessly filled the void left by Mr Cho Mr Nagesh and Mr.Mouli as they moved on to serious cinema (sic).”

The actor, satirist, screenwriter Crazy Mohan passed away on June 10th 2019 as he suffered a massive heart attack. We miss you sir!
