Father-daughter duo Kamal and Akshara have a music composer in common! Kollywood music composer Ghibran will be composing music for the project that is being produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Productions and stars Haasan’s younger daughter Akshara Haasan. The composer is currently on board for Haasan’s upcoming film Vishwaroopam 2, and had confirmed the same on Twitter.

The untitled film will be directed by Rajesh M Selva of Thoongavanam fame. It is reportedly a remake of a French film. Rajesh and Kamal have collaborated several times before – Kamal acted in his Vishwaroopam, Uthama Villain and Thoonga Vanam. While little is known about this new project, there’s a lot of expectations for the same.

Meanwhile, Kamal recently visited the inhabitants of Pattinambakkam. He has Vishwaroopam 2 in the pipeline which is slated for an August release this year. He will then start working on Sabash Naidu while also dabbling in politics with his political party Makkal Needhi Maiam on full swing.
