VIP 2 made a kickstart with Superstar Rajinikanth clapping the first shot and the movie hasn’t stopped surprising us with that. Bollywood Diva Kajol is to act in VIP 2, written by actor Dhanush. It has almost been 20 years since the actress was last seen in Minsara Kanavu with Prabhu Deva and Aravind Swamy, released in 1997. She has made a comeback in VIP 2 directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth.

The Kabali producer Kalaipuli S.Thanu and Dhanush are to co-produce the film. “Kajol will act with Dhanush for the first time. She is acting in Tamil after a long gap,” the producers said in a release.
