It is finally a wrap for the shoot of Kaathuvakua Rendu Kadhal directed by Vignesh Shivan. where we’ll be seeing Vijay Sethupathi pairing against two beauties of the  Kollywood industry, Nayanthara and Samantha. The movie is said to hit the theatres by the 28th of April.

Samantha came a step forward to announce the wrap up for their shoot and their official release date on social media captioning the post as “And it’s a wrap 💕

Samantha posted the happy news on Instagram, along with a few photos from the wrap-up celebration, with the caption, “Can’t wait for you’ll to laugh till your tummies hurt and then just a little bit more !!” Samantha will play Khatija in the film, while her co-star Nayanthara will play Kanmani Ganguly. These two are on their way to becoming BFFs. The woman diva recently gave the Yashoda actress a set of striking earrings. The present came with a card that said, “Dear Khatija…with love Kanmani.” “Thank you lovely Nayan,” posted Samantha beside a photo of the present and shared it on her social media

Samantha, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi will star in a film that will be released soon. Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studios produced Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which was shot by S. R. Kathir. A. Sreekar Prasad was in charge of the project’s editing.

Samantha is also now working for her forthcoming pan-Indian thriller, Yashoda, headed by director pair Hari and Harish. Among her other projects is Gunasekhar’s mythological film Shaakuntalam which is set to release in 5 different languages.
