Jyotika gives us major Wanderlust dreams

Just days after Jyotika’s surprising entry to social media, she has given us major travel goals. She has recently posted a mini travelogue of her Independence day trip to the Himalayas with the caption, “A kutty vlog from my recent trip & trek to the Himalayas!”

The 4-minute long video is giving us a major yearning to immediately pack our bags and take a long vacation to the Himalayas. The video consists of several short snippets and pictures of her trek along with her friends. She takes us through her everyday routine during her trip. The video begins with a quote that says, “It is not the mountains we conquer, But ourselves.” And continues with bright scenic pictures of the snow-covered mountains with Vellai Pookal song by A R Rahman in the background. This perfect blend of the background score along with a hike involving vivid scenery sure is a virtual treat for all of us.

The video also gives us a major look into our Indian diversity where she and her friends singing Pudhu Vellai Mazhai by ARR from Roja in both Tamil and Hindi language and gives us goosebumps when she holds our National flag up high with all her friends chanting, “Jai Hind”. The vlog ends with an inspiring note by Jyotika, “Life is like a rainbow. Let’s start discovering its colors. Found my blue.”
