As soon as he made the announcement, many speculated and reported that the couple should have gone through surrogacy for the birth of their twins. Many said that it was illegal for them to go through surrogacy. The Tamil Nadu state government then set up a panel to enquire into the matter. It was then found that the couple has abided by the law and that they have registered their marriage 6 years ago. So it was legal for them to opt for surrogacy. It is to be noted that it has been only four months since the two got married publicly. The couple tied the knot on June 9th, 2022.
Now, the two have been enjoying this face of parenthood. On Diwali, Vignesh Shivan posted a video of them holding their babies in their hands and greeting their fans with Diwali wishes. He also shared photos of the same. The next celebration that is coming up for the couple is Nayanthara’s 38th birthday, which is on 28th November. While speaking about the plans they have made for her birthday, a source close to them has revealed to a media house, “2022 has been the year for Nayanthara! She tied the knot in June and was blessed with twins recently. Since she cannot travel now, Nayan wants to keep her birthday celebration low-key and special by spending her first birthday after marriage with her kids and husband Vignesh Shivan. She is making sure to give enough time to her newborns before she heads for the last scheduled shoot of Jawan.”
